Ben's "Adopt-a-Child" Program

In memory of Ben Mock
Ben Mock has inspired the Montgomery American Legion Riders to start a new program where we will adopt a sick child at Christmas to provided the child with gifts and to open our hearts to the child and his/her family. We adopted Ben during Christmas 2007 and the friendships that have developed has been overwhelming. All members of the Legion Rider family and the support of the community has made this program very successful and we look forward to doing this each year in Ben's memory.
Cody Lynch Christmas 08'

Cody and his family wants to express their gratitude for everything that the Legion Riders and the local community has done for him and his family. The generousity has been overwhelming. Cody loved his Playstation 3 and would not stop playing it and his brother chase was so excited when he got his new Haro bike, he even took the bike in the house and ate his supper that evening while sitting on it. We were also happy to support the Watsontown Police Department and the Montgomery Christmas Committee so that other children would have a special Christmas as well.
Nathaniel Hagenbugh - Christmas 09'

During the Christmas season of 09' the Legion Riders selected Nathaniel Hagenbuch as their Adopt-a-Child.
Nathaniel had several medical conditions that required several surgeries. He also need special toys. With the kindness and financial donation from several local business, we were able to provide nathaniel with all of his wishes to include a power wheels truck. We were also able to make a large cash donation for his family to assist them with medical cost. To see the smile on Nathaniel's face and the joy of his parents was priceless.
And a Special Thank you to The Mock Families
This is all done in memory of their son Ben !!
